Colorado GOP Statement on House Resolution 22-1004

Greenwood Village, Colorado – Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released the following statement today regarding the introduction of House Resolution 22-1004:

“This is a blatant political ploy by Democrats in the Assembly to distract from the fact that they have spent years increasing taxes, passing policies that have led to record levels of violent crime, and putting students and parents last. The 2020 election is over. It’s in the past, and Joe Biden is the (very unpopular) president. If the Democrats are asking if we have confidence in our elections, the answer is yes. We have complete confidence that we will win this upcoming election. In the meantime, we hope they will join Republicans in the legislature in working to reverse the devastating policies passed these past few years.”

Colorado JBS Plant toured by State Legislators

I toured the JBS plant last Friday, August 18. The group picture is JBS staff , Holtorf and 3 other legislators. Reps Gabe Evans, Ryan Armagost, and State Senator Byron Pelton. The cattle industry is vital to our rural Colorado economy and the JBS processing plant employs thousands of good people and processes 5000 head of cattle a day.
